Gordon founded Oxford Internet Consultants (later shortened and re-registered as Oxinet) in 1997, the sister company of Oxford Computer Consultants Ltd. His genuine interest highlighted the opportunity to capitalise on an increasingly web-focused society. Since then, Oxinet has gone from strength to strength. As part of Gordon’s, and consequently Oxinet’s, passion for using collaboration to solve customer challenges, Gordon adopted the role of Project Technical Manager for the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE), the NHS’s watchdog. There he developed an award-winning website which included the design and integration of complex data to enable effective communication within the organisation. In 2005, led by Gordon, Oxinet supported the Health Development Agency (HDA) and NICE integration and implemented a complete website redesign. Oxinet and NICE have been working together since 1999. Gordon continues to play a crucial role in the sale, development and implementation of Oxinet’s flagship product, PEMS, having been a key driver of the collaborative effort from which it was born.
Elsewhere in the business, Gordon leads many complex web-based integration projects for customers such as Momenta, LG and the Knowledge Transfer Partnership.
