UPGRADES: When upgrading your WinGate license SIZE or TYPE (e.g. STD-PRO) , you pay the difference between the cost of your existing WinGate license and the cost of your new upgrade license + a £10 handling fee. Note that separate prices apply to upgrades from previous VERSIONS of WinGate, contact us for details.

Important Notes:

• Upgrading from one level (e.g. Standard to Pro or increase users) of WinGate to another incurs just the difference in prices, plus a £10 handling fee. Proof of purchase of your original licence may be required. Special prices apply to upgrades from previous VERSIONS of WinGate (e.g. upgrade v3.x to v4.x), contact us for details or use the upgrade wizard.
• The price list presented here is based on U.K. Pounds Sterling excluding VAT. Note that UK and EC customers must add VAT at 17.5%. If you are ordering from outside the U.K., look here for the most current currency exchange information.
• Users means concurrent WinGate users. This is the maximum number of different machines from which WinGate will accept connections. After the licensed number of machines have connected to WinGate, WinGate will not accept connections from any other machines until one of the connected machines terminates all active connections. The WinGate machine is included in the user count in WinGate 3.

Examples of Uses of WinGate:

• 2 PC LAN = WinGate machine + 2nd machine (and both users hammering the net) = Free 2 user license.
• 3 PC LAN = WinGate machine + 2 other WinGate users (all hammering the net) = 3 user license.
• 5 PC LAN = WinGate machine + 4 other WinGate users (2 max. at one time) = 3 user license.
• 6 PC LAN = WinGate machine + 5 other WinGate users (all hammering the net) = 6 user license.
• 15 PC LAN = WinGate machine + 14 other WinGate users (12 max. at one time) = 12 user license

WinGate 6.0 has three different types of license: Standard, Professional and Enterprise. There are different features included in each of these different license types. Furthermore, since it is possible to activate a previous-version WinGate license with WinGate 6.0, it is possible that some installations may have further limitations on functionality. Finally, some features are only available on certain operating systems.

The table below indicates the minimum license and OS you would require for access to a certain feature. All other features are available in all versions and types of WinGate license. Where no OS is specified, the feature is available on all Windows operating systems.
